Bradford Design Success

Good news for everyone involved with Strawberry Swirl this week. We have been short listed to undertake a 2 day workshop in Bradford as part of Iain Scott's Creative Challenge. We had a Dragon's Den style interview a couple of weeks ago along with hundreds of other creatives and designers in Bradford. From this only ten people have been selected to go onto the next stage, and yours truly is one of them.

Bradford Design Event

Well tonight we went to our first bmedia event, at the Velocity, and announced ourselves to the unsuspecting Bradford design industry. The event was based around a presentation about web site optimisation for search engines. It is good to know that the web design we have undertaken for Bradford companies is as good as the big national companies.

We met some interesting people and have happily become new members of bmedia. All the staff and people connected with bmedia are very helpful and we would recommend them to anybody.

Bradford's Creative Challenge

Well, we are off today to the Dragons Den. We have an appointment booked at Bradford's Creative Challenge. This is basically a chance for creative entrepreneurs to sell their ideas to a panel of judges. They are judging applicants for 3 solid days, and I believe we have the first last slot. The people with the best creative ideas in Bradford are the selected to take part in a two day workshop with Iain Scott.
